Mohammed V Airport (CMN) is in Nouaceur, about thirty kilometres south of the centre: it is the most requested pickup point for international arrivals. In town, agencies are mostly around Maarif, Gauthier, Anfa and Boulevard d’Anfa, and near Casa-Voyageurs station.
The city centre is busy at rush hour and parking is often paid. A compact or economy car is the most practical way to move between Maarif, the Ain Diab corniche and the Sidi Maarouf business district.
Casablanca is linked by motorway to Rabat (about 90 km), Marrakesh (about 240 km) and El Jadida (about 100 km).
| Document | What to know |
|---|---|
| Driving licence | A valid licence. An international driving permit is recommended if your licence is not written in Latin script. |

| Age and licence seniority | Set by each agency: check with the agency before booking. |
| Deposit | Amount shown on each car’s page, returned at the end of the rental. |

At pickup, the agency employee inspects the car with you and takes photos.
